I recently switched computer cases, but the computer won't turn on now. Please see description.?

I've correctly connected all the cable, carefully made sure they are in exatly the same way as they were before, but it just won't turn on. All the fans

(even the one on the processor) turn on fine, the cd drive opens, but nothing shows up on the monitor. Could anyone provide some info? Maybe I'm missing a connection? AMD 690G chipset, the guts are from an acer m3100-u3201a.Any help would be greatly appreciated.I recently switched computer cases, but the computer won't turn on now. Please see description.?
In most of these cases, I find that it is a grounding issue. Did you use the case standoffs, that were supplied with the new case to mount the MOBO..?

If you have a PCI video card, did you remember to Connect the power cable to it..? If you forgot the external power for the video card, you will not get a video signal...I recently switched computer cases, but the computer won't turn on now. Please see description.?
make sure the video card is in correctly and the monitor is connected properly. afterwards, if you are still having problems, try using a different monitor. if you are still having problems, remove your hard drive and attach it to someone else's computer and boot it from there. fix the graphic card driver and try it again. if all else fails, walk away for a while, and double-check everything later.
Did you upgrade the memory? I did once, and had the very same description you have. Put back the other ram, and I was off and running. The weird thing was, I put that ';bad'; ram in another machine, and it worked fine. Go figure.
is it posting? 1 beep? if not its more than likely the mobo is grounding out on the case...work in reverse by taking one component out at a time and see if it posts...if you get all the back to the mobo, take it out and put electrical tape on the bottom of the mobo.....just on anything that looks like it will come in contact w/the case......i did that once and it worked out perfect.....scott
Go on line to the Manufacture for a Acrobat duplicate of the install instructions; or ask the store you bought the case from.
