Can I cover/color the light on my computer case?

I have a Cooler Master HAF 932 case for my computer. It has two extremely bright blue lights on the top right of the front of the case. I was wondering if I could color the lens black with a sharpie, or cover it with electrical/duct tape? Would it cause any heating issues? Feeling the lights, they don't produce noticeable heat.


Any ideas?
